The wait is over!

We're excited to announce that Runaway Bay Cricket Club's 2026/27 Pre-Season Training kicks off on Tuesday 4 August, and we can't wait to see everyone back at Sam Loxton Oval.

Following an incredible season where we were crowned Overall Club Champions and Turf Club Champions, we're determined to continue building on that success—and it all starts at pre-season.

Pre-Season Training Details

📅 When: Every Tuesday & Thursday
🗓️ Starting: Tuesday 4 August & Thursday 6 August
⏰ Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
📍 Where: Sam Loxton Oval, Runaway Bay

Whether you're a returning player, new to the club, or thinking about getting back into cricket, we'd love to welcome you.

Our new coaching team has an exciting program planned to help players improve their skills, fitness, and game awareness while continuing to build the outstanding culture that makes the Bay the Gold Coast's No.1 family cricket club.

Want to play 1st Grade T20?

Attendance at pre-season training is compulsory for any player wishing to be considered for selection in our 1st Grade T20 squad.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or playing grade. Come along, meet the coaches, reconnect with teammates, and be part of another exciting season at the Bay.

We can't wait to see both familiar and new faces as we begin another journey together.
